1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

The 'fake news media' reports the White House chefs are going mad because the Donald has no gastronomic style and all their cooking are hamburgers.

Perhaps SR needs the handle ForumTroll for his work in this thread.

I suffer the microaggressions of some culinary elitists in here but will continue. I'm like Rosa Parks if she paid no attention to plating technique.

A beautiful cacophony of color and culinary courage. I see some Warhol, Bocuse, Cicero in your work. And the subliminal political message, the red/white/green of the Mexican flag draped all over the "white" meat chicken, the chicken drowning in the sauce but being held up by its strong foundation, the Circle (flour tortilla), which is an obvious reference to God, "God is a circle whose centre is everywhere and whose circumference is nowhere (Hermes Trismegistus)". Its like you took cultural/political/religious/culinary discourse, threw it on a plate and said, "Fuck It".

I am heading down under later this week.

By the way, if any Manhattanites would enjoy a change of pace for your SATURDAY evening, I am catering a party for 40 on the 29th of April and could use a few extra fingers in the kitchen (it will be professional sized)..

It is but if I was a young pup that cared about haute food preparation, I would take you up on it. As it is, I am more of a consumer of food then a producer and when you have two kids involved in a hundred activities, any free time on weekends is sacred.
