1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

As a poor immigrant boy, I couldn't help but be pretty aggrieved by this.

of course, it must be re-emphasized that Gomey explicitly said: "ONE OF THEIR DESSERT COURSES."
TK hasn't completely disappeared down the california rabbit hole. on the other hand, one of my favorite desserts at chez panisse cafe is early spring when they have a bowl of kishu mandarins and great dates. perfect simple ending to a meal.

Spelt spaghetti with slow roasted tomatoes, skinned char grilled red capsicum and slow roasted eggplant. Mixed with aged goats cheese, oregano, chilli and garlic and EV olive oil. Served with a radicchio coz and arugula salad.

Baby turnips with lemon and black pepper.

The skin of the lemon confits were much more bitter this time around. Maybe it was an old lemon, or perhaps because I simmered it for too long?

Sometimes you get reminded of how simple things can be so tasty. Finished my usual Saturday morning workout and needed a snack. Sliced a really nice tomato very thin, thin shaved some Manchego, drizzled a little Balsamic and olive oil, a sprinkle of salt flakes...very satisfying.
