Best night ever. Finally after nearly 6 months of planning our surprise party for my mom's 60th birthday went down without a hitch. The plan was hatched with my aunt who graciously hosted it all. We sent out invites, everyone accepted, and went through some stressful times to make sure no one leaked anything and setting up the elaborate plan to make everything fall in place. This last week was horrible as so many variables were in play to get her to the place on time and get everyone there without being noticed. We got around 30 of her closest friends and family together today and she arrived on time. We got some old friends, and a couple brothers flew in as a surprise. Was amazing seeing the look on her face when we sang happy birthday when she walked in the door, something I'll never forget. Everyone commented on how great everything was, we played a couple games I created, watched some old videos and said our goodbyes. I hope when I am 60 I have as many people that love me even 1/10 as much as we do to her.
