What determines how you tie your tie knot and/or fold your pocket square?

I am just curious about how guys here determine this.I usually tie my tie knot by how I feel at the moment(either a half windsor or Italian tie knot). For pockets squares I usually stick to the square fold but recently did the puff fold for a wedding I was invited to.

Do you guys tie your tie knots and/or fold your pocket square a certain way for a certain occasion?

Mondays: no tie, just square, but in a puff

Tuesday: no tie, no square, but a lapel flower (real, carnation when the Tuesday fall on an even number day of month)

Wednesday: no tie, square in a modified TV fold (only silk hankies, but every third Wednesday I go for a linen/cotton blend)

Thursday: tie until 10:35AM (FIH), square in TV fold (must be linen)

Friday: no tie, no square, no socks

That's my Spring rotation. I'll share my other seasonal variations later.
