How to identify if a saks or valentino suit are made by Isaia.

I actually like the detailing of most valentino suits, but sadly only saks and other few places carry it and almost no online retailer carry valentino men's.

Check the tag on the inside pocket. Most suit makers have their own distinctive tags.

Some valentino are made in small european countries now. Romania for example. So I even didn't bother to check the tag. But next time it it's made in italy, I'll do. Thanks.

I think most of 1818 stuff are made in USA.

Compare to USA made and Italy made 1818 stuff, for a half canvassed which quality is better?

Isaia made some of the clothes for Harrison James, a defunct (circa 2000) NYC men's store.

Perhaps some stuff for Sulka, though much of their Italian tailored clothing was SaintAndrews.

They have also made stuff for Herbie Frogg of London, though all of that may be labeled Isaia.

Make sure it's the "Valentino Tailoring" line; that's the Isaia stuff. You might come across regular Valentino that's made in Italy but is definitely not Isaia.

I'm looking at a few Saks branded suits that the sales associate tells me are Isaia. He says it's a new arrangement between Saks and Isaia and when the suits come up in his computer system they actually say "Isaia". I was looking for confirmation on this, maybe someone can confirm. This was about three weeks ago, Boston store.

Great looking suits, too, I should say. About $1,000.
