What colour Oxford shoes would go best with that suit? (For my wedding day)

I tried "chestnut" and to me my eye was paying too much attention to the shoes as I think the contrast was too much.

From my research burgundy and black might be best. The burgundy would work well as the red tones are a primary colour as is navy.

Would one work better than the other with that suit and for a wedding?

Struggling to find wide fit burgundy Oxfords in the UK currently but will keep searching.

If I go the black route would it look corporate? Or is it a classic look for a wedding suit?

Any other recommendations or advice much appreciated

Thanks! Was wondering if it looked "boring" compared to burgundy/ dark brown but think I might be overthinking this!

Dark brown would be great and burgundy would still be nice.

Both dark brown and black would work very well with the navy suit. Dark brown will give a little more pop than the black but both would be suitable.

Whatever you do, do not get tan shoes with the navy suit.

While I'd go with Burgundy or Dark Brown for a normal business setting, I'm 100% team black for a wedding. Also, I'd never wear a chestnut/walnut brown with a navy suit in any setting. You're right about the color juxtaposition being too strong and drawing people's eyes to your feet.
