Wondering which colour would be most versatile and go with the most.

The options are brown or blue. I'm thinking of wearing them with or without socks, and with jeans (mainly), shorts, and light and dark chinos. - So a real mix.

Possibly, one thing that maybe should be taken into account, given sockless with shorts possibility, is my darker skintone (i.e. light-ish brown).

Timberland Boat Shoe

In my view Timberland make the best quality and most comfortable boat shoe, i know people who have had the same pair for 10+ years.

Both brown and navy are really versatile colours. I have one pair of each. But if I had to choose between them, I would pick brown simply because it is just that little bit more versatile in terms of matching with your clothes.

Thank you.

Might have to get down to a shop and try some on... I much prefer online shopping and better using my free time!

+1; earlier today I was thinking which two pairs of Paraboot Barths to buy, and decided to go for brown and navy.

Brown looks great with beige ,cream , white and a lot of tones used in summer clothing...

Navy is also a great choice even if it is a little more restricted.

If you're looking for a REAL boat shoe (i.e. you really sail), then I suggest: HARKEN: Men's Classic Leather Shoes ($119.00)

Wore these last season and they are VERY comfortable and provide excellent wet traction. Bought these from Zappos (canvas) for wear in St. Thomas: Sperry Top-Sider - Bahama Lace ($60.00)

Any boat shoe color conversation is moot before first knowing the color of your boat. Nothing is worse than one's boat shoes clashing with the color of his boat.
