I'm hesitating to buy a charcoal grey chino because I've never worn a grey pair of pants in my life and I'm not sure it would match with my other clothes :brick:
Sorry for my dumb question lol

A little less common than blue or light/dark khaki but still a neutral color so very versatile. Blues, burgundy shirts work well -

I think you are making a great choice as I love grey chinos and wear them almost as much as I do my Khaki ones if not more.

To answer your question, you can (and I do) wear with the obvious black or white tees/shirts/henleys etc... but grey is a fantastic base colour that you can also wear with greens, reds and even brown. In fact grey chinos paired with a dark brown leather belt and boots is such and underrated look as people are scared of the pairing. I second the lastt poster too as burghundy is a wonderful pairing with grey chinos.

Basically you are making a fantastic choice and an extra layer to your lookbook, it always good to change it up now and again and who knows, they may become your favourite pair in no time.

Enjoy them!

I agree with both of the previous posts.

Grey serves as a neutral and versatile base. Your pairing options are endless. The obvious white or blue shirt will always work beautifully, and make a stylish impression for your smart-casual functions.

Otherwise burgundy (as mentioned above) and lilac will both work well.
Make sure the chino's are nicely tailored, and you match your shoes to your belt.
