What color Shirt for Black Suit?

Whats a good color for a black suit that is serviceable for Friday day work with tie then tie-less through the night out?
Whats the matching tie for that matter?

Just white shirt?

I have tried this before and have never been satisfied with any colored shirts. I stick with white when wearing black.

This is, of course, the main reason why everyone on this forum hates black suits so much.

I think I blue can work IF the shirting is a flat weave with a slight sheen. No chunky oxfords. The blue should be more of a robins egg blue. Very, very pale.
