What color horn buttons for navy jacket?

I'm getting a navy jacket made and am debating between two shades of horn buttons:

Which is preferred, the light or dark?

As a follow-up, I'll most likely get a suit made at the same time. The dark are appropriate for any suit and the light could work on a casual navy jacket, correct?

I think horn buttons look great on blazers and sport coats. However, IMO I think they look out of place on suits.

I made a very similar jacket earlier this year and went for dark horn buttons (darker and less transparent than the buttons you pictured). I suggest you go with the darker buttons.

I'd go with the dark one out of those two, but I'd much rather have a medium option.
