What color/fabric trousers would you wear with this sport coat?

Sup guys? Could use your help as always...

This Belvest blazer is 50% Linen 46% Wool 4% Silk

I guess it's lightweight but what would you wear on the bottom?

Black trousers? maybe grey? And what kind of material?

Also should I wear an open collar with the jacket? Or can I wear a tie also?

Check out the photos below.

I like to wear lighter jeans/cotton pants and OCDB with my blue herringbone sport coat. When I do wear a tie with this jacket, I usually wear a knit tie with jeans, or a repp tie with pants. This is the exact sport coat I have:

You can wear just about anything. Light grey to mid grey, beige, greens, etc. Cotton, fresco, linen would all be appropriate. You could also wear jeans.

I would not wear black trousers.

Open collar is fine, tie is fine. I would try to wear a textured, casual tie.

Agreed black is too close in shade. I would also avoid blues in the same shade as the jacket but lighter is ok. You just trying to avoid looking like a mismatched suit

Everything else works

I would wear light coloured trousers, or chinos or jeans.
