What clothes should you hang? What should you fold?

I know sweaters are better left folded so they don't stretch, but what about everything else?

I have stretchy thermals that I might start folding since those might stretch. What about thicker waffle type long sleeve shirts? What about t-shirts?

I definitely hang button ups and dress shirts, but just dunno what to do about everything else.

Can anyone give me some advice on this. Thanks.

I hang shirts, suits, sport coats, winter outerwear, and wool trousers. Out of necessity (lack of closet space) everything else is folded (chinos, sweaters, polos, tshirts, etc).

Hang jackets, dress shirts and button ups, trousers, and maybe polos, space permitting. Everything else - tshirts, sweaters, jeans are folded.

So you fold your dress shirts? Does that mean you iron them each morning? Just getting out of bed is accomplishment enough for me in the mornings.

Although I wish I had more closet space, I hang jackets, pants, and buttoned shirts ( dress or casual).

I have all of my dress shirts suits and ties hanging. I hang all of my pants. My polos and sweaters I fold in a drawer as well as my socks and boxers.
