I know, completely random.. but it has my interest piqued. This is in no way a brand-whore post. I just posted over on AAAC about business casual where someone highlighted that most people at most BC dress code jobs wear stuff almost exclusively from BR, Express, and Kenneth Cole with a bit of H&M / Zara sprinkled in. Then, I was eyeing the Nordstrom 70% final clearance where they had a couple decent Robert Talbotts for 30 bucks and some, albeit pedestrian, Nordstrom-branded button-downs for 20 bucks. Is this just a matter of miseducation or do most people just not give a damn if their shirt falls apart in a year? I digress.

Many of you will have lists that span 8 pages. Mine is extremely short. :p

Borrelli, Barba (all three labels, I love you Ian), Purple Label, Polo Blue Label, Diesel, Rag and Bone, Nudies
Nordstrom, Charvet, Brioni, Zanella, YSL, Sugar Cane, Ermenigildo Zegna, Ted Baker, Saks Fifth Avenue,
Loro Piana, PDC, Gucci, Thomas Pink, Energie, Ed Hardy, Finamore, Lacoste, Kiton, Hermes, Hemrajani, Banana Republic, Barker Black, Allen Edmonds, Timberland, Steve Madden (corrected-grain monstrosities that will soon be relegated to snow-walking, ONLY), To Boot New York, Reebok, Puma, Crockett and Jones

> Schubert Customs (1 x brown semi-wholecuts, 1 x burgundy wingtips)
> Grenson (vast majority of my dress shoes come from Bennie's...1 x tassel loafers, 1 x brown captoe bals, 1 x brown captoe loafers, 1 x black captoe bals, 1 burgundy wholecut w/bicycle punches, 1 x cream suede ankle boots, 1 x side lacers, 1 x dark brown penny loafers)
> Church's (black captoe bals)
> Santoni
> Certo

> Brioni (1 suit)
> Canali (1 charcoal suit, 1 sportscoat, 1 combi)
> Gruppo Tre (1 charcoal pinstripe suit)
> Isaia (1 navy suit)
> T&A (shirts, one medium blue sportscoat w/subtle windowpanes)
> Borrelli (2 shirts)
> RLPL (DB suit, a couple dress shirts, cotton sweaters)
> RL Blue Label (custom fit shirts)
> Theory (sweaters)

Many more...but at the end of the day, I'm overweight on Grensons shoes, Canali suitings, and all over on the dress shirts in terms of my holdings and frequency of wearing.

I am pretty slim, so I tend to go for certain 'designer' brands that aren't super popular on this forum. In my eyes, fit trumps quality. I could be wearing some nice labels, but despite the quality, they would look like sh!t on me despite the quality

Versace, Dolce & Gabbana mainline, Prada mainline, Versace, Jil Sander (fully canvassed), Valentino, Brioni, Express (surprisingly well-fitting and always purchased for $10-30) and tons of streetwear labels.

Versaceman took the brands right out of my mouth.

Thanks for saving me the time of having to write out my list. Add Helmut Lang, Costume National, and some Marc Jacobs and I think we've got the same closet. Totally agree with you about Express, too. I'm consistently shocked by the nice, slim fit of their shirts and the fact that, for the price, they usually use MOP buttons.

A little more comprehensive:
Suits: Rafaelle Caruso Sartoria Parma, Lardini, Belvest, Boss Black, Jil Sander tailor made, Zegna, Gucci, YSL Rive Gauche
Shirts: Zegna, Jil sander, Ghesquiere for Balenciaga, Express
Sweaters: Blumarine, Valentino, Paul Smith, Express
Denim: Helmut Lang, Dior, Marc Jacobs
Shoes: C&J, AE, Church's, Jean-Michel Cazabat, Lattanzi for Jil Sander
Sneakers: Puma for Jil Sander, Puma for Miharayasuhiro, Onitsuka Tiger, Lang
