What brands of leather goods does Bergdorf carry?

I received a gift card, and would like to get a new bag or wallet. All I see on line is the usual Prada/Gucci junk.

Any suggestions of what they carry are much appreciated.

With respect to small leather goods, they have BG branded stuff. I have a BG alligator wallet. No idea who the actual maker is, but it's very nice.

I think they have Goyard there...they have some nice things. Or perhaps I'm thinking of Barney's

Lambertson Truex. I have a dark brown pebble grained briefcase of theirs from BG and I like it a lot.

Goyard, Lambertson Truex, Tom Ford, BG House Brand, the usual suspects online.

Is the house brand the best they have?

There was a really nice Prada briefcase for sale on the B&S forum recently. It may not be well constructed but it sure looked nice.

They have some fabulous Cucinelli bags. Goyard is only carried in the womans store across the street.

I, along with a few other site members, purchased a Bottega Venetta wallet from BG around three years ago. It has held up nicely.

BTW, you can use your BG Gift Card at any Neiman Marcus stores and vice versa.

Honestly, I think the "Prada=crap" idea is overplayed. They do make a lot of abysmal ****, but their top end and mainline leather collections and briefcases are actually quite nice... or just as nice as any other high-end designer. I find them to be perfectly well constructed, or better than, some of their competition (Ferragamo, Gucci, Valentino absolutely, etc.) Next to Valextra or Hermes, of course... but I still find that lots of Prada briefs are good... use good leathers, and nice hardware (riri zippers, good lining, etc.) Yeah, "Prada Luna Rossa" made in vietnam is crap, but I still think Prada is worth a look for some top-end leathergoods, especially if it is on discount. I would pay $1800 for any of them, but even up to $500 or so I'd say would be well worth it.
