What book(s) do you suggest reading for a solid foundation in fashion and style?

Do you have a link to the book you are referring to? I just seem to find comic books with the title Transmetropolitan.

    It was Evangelion

Which is also a show filled with swag. Same to Rah-Xephon.

I remember watching all 20+ episodes of Evangelion in one week night when I was 13; that was an awful idea

Just wondering, but what do you hope to find in such a book? It sounds like you're looking for rules to follow or something, but that won't really help. You're better off finding pictures you like on the good old (free) Internet and then copying them to start. Look at blogs and runway shows and figure out what you like.
