A dark brown leather belt. Unless you're going to match the shade exactly(which means you should have commisioned a belt made from the same suede by the shoemaker), don't stress too much about matching belts and shoes.

This should probably have gone in the quick questions thread. I am a bad person.

Coordinate a belt to your pants and these shoes will follow. Avoid black, navy and grey. The belt need not match and even more fun to contrast. A brown belt with contrast stitching can also work. A plain belt in chestnut would work fine.

Suede belt. I have a wide one in that tone in a d-ring setup. Works because i use chukkas for more casual situation. And a Torino standard design in a "chili" or tobacco suede to match slightly dressiersuede shoes in similar tone. It was actually quite hard to find a suede belt matching some design parameters, actually....

I dunno...(he said uneasily)...I feel like there are two schools of thought on this, and I'm in the "belt and shoes should match" camp. I'm open to having my mind changed--does anyone have pictures of gents wearing non-matching shoes and belts and looking good? I don't remember seeing any, ever, I have to say.

In the alternative, who makes a nice dark chocolate suede belt?
