What belt can I wear with these? I have a suede belt, but it’s super dark. Do you have to wear a suede belt with suede shoes?

What’s the official rule of thumb?

Absolutely no need at all for a suede belt.

Excessively precise matching of belts and shoes is odd and unnatural, except when black shoes are worn. Matching suede to suede doubly so.

A tan leather, no darker than the shoes, will be best.

I like the last on those shoes but I don't get suede shoes with rubber/plastic soles. One is MADE for wet weather / grass... the other should avoid it, ideally...

Agree with the above post on the belt; no need to match exactly. Just stay away from very dark brown, alligator effect, black (obvs.).

Suede does fine in damp weather if it’s be protected. Suede is also easy to restore if it gets wet. Another reason for the Danite style soles might be that when it’s nice out you tend to walk more outside and want a longer wearing sole???

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
