What are your thoughts?

I apologize for the lack of information I have provided but I found these last night. What are your initial thoughts? $179/pair. I'll try to get more information on the boots themselves.

Here are some of my thoughts:

I think that people that don't pay at least one dollar in federal/state income taxes should not be allowed to vote. If you aren't contributing to fund government, more than likely you will vote in some way to increase your benefits. I think there is a conflict of interest.

I think that many of us are too focused on brands and not on quality.

I think that Ohio State will win the NCAA basketball tournament.

I think that Charlie Sheen took too much cocaine, at least enough to kill two-and-a-half men.

I think that I am unable to give you any opinions on your boots without knowing more about them. However, they do look nice.

Ugly and cheap looking in my opinion. Save your pennies and buy something for the long haul. 2 years from now, you'll be happy you did. LOL HarleyBob, sorry for the lack of info man. In an effort to provide additional information, what specifics should I ask the seller in regards to these boots? BTW, I love your first opinion!

Well, if you're not opposed to brogues, the Trickers "Stow" boots show up on www.sierratradingpost.com fairly often for a good price. Get them with a coupon for under $300. I have a pair and love them. Not as dressy looking as the Aldens you posted but very nice in their own way.
