What are your thoughts on my MTM sport jacket after the second fitting?

I've just started working in Bangkok and due to a shipping snafu and poor planning, I've arrived without a sport jacket or suit jacket, although they will arrive in a couple weeks.

That being said I am in the process of having a tailor (one who came highly recommended by both Thai and foreign friends) make both a sport jacket and suit for me (as well as shirts and trousers once I am confident in their or another tailors work to proceed with a large order).

As this is my first time having a jacket made in a very long time and the default styles and cuts here are a bit different than most of mine, not to mention I'm not exactly of the size and shape of an average Thai, I'm hoping for some feedback from you veterans based on photos after the second fitting of the sport jacket. Once I provide them feedback today/tomorrow they will get back to work.

What our your thoughts? Thanks in advance.

The jacket overall is short and additionally is too short in the front. That is, the jacket needs more length over your chest and upper belly. The buttoning point is too high as a result, but the solution is not just to cut the buttonhole lower (thought this may be needed) — need to add more length in the front.

Something happening with your left shoulder and perhaps a collar gap at your left neck?

The patterns and different sleeve lengths are two things I had not noticed myself so thanks for pointing those out to me.

The jacket length, buttoning points and my left shoulder/the space between the arm and waist were concerns of mine as well.

The one thing I really noticed is highlighted in the attached photo. It's similar on both sides but it looks more prominent on the my left side in the photo, my photography skills are quite poor. I'm not sure if it was intentional, an honest mistake or something else but I've certainly never noticed anything similar on any of my jackets or any others for that matter. Any thoughts on this?

Again the feedback is greatly appreciated, it's been quite some time since I last had a jacket made.

Does anyone have any ideas on the creases (I’ve never seen this on a jacket so I’m not sure what it is or what to call it) I’ve pointed out in the white rectangles?

The vertical seams on your jackets are darts. That's a normal feature.

The creasing through the chest and shoulder is terrible. You are also wearing the jacket slightly off kilter (note the difference in sleeve length)

As stated above, pattern matching is terrible.

I would venture this is one of those sub-$500 Thai deals...

They're Darts, used to add shape to a garment.

The only sport coats that don't have them are very traditional American 'sack' style coats, and some modern interpretations of that style.

My honest opinion, given that you are 'testing the water' with this new tailor, would be not to commission any further work from them.

The pattern mismatching would be the biggest sticking point for me, that's basic stuff and the coat should never have been passed on to you as being acceptable.
