I just had two nice pints of Thornbridge Jaipur. £1.69 a pint but only £1.19 a pint with vouchers. An excellent draught ale at less than supermarket bottle prices.

I always managed to give Indian trips a swerve at work. I would prefer to check their cities out remotely - on film.

True, not everyone's cup of tea.

First things first, have an iron-clad immune system before venturing into any Indian city. Unsolicited advise, but given nonetheless!

Good: Berlin, Paris, London, NYC, Vancouver, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Prague, Singapore, Frankfurt, Brussels, Munich, Geneva, Nice, San Fran, Capetown, Hong Kong (past tense I fear), Nagoya (saw my first used underpants machine there - good times), Osaka, Honolulu (it’s a bit dated but beaches are good), LA (depends where you stay), Wellington, Papeete, Noumea, Buenos Aires.
Meh: Brisbane, Darwin, Adelaide, Auckland, Kuala Lumpur, Christchurch
Not so good: Manila, Seoul, Vegas, Johannesburg (good for steaks and red wine though), Harare (Vic Falls was good though), Jakarta.

Haven't been to many, but:

Favorites: NYC, Tokyo, Taipei, Beijing, Las Vegas
Least Favorites: Los Angeles, Houston, Orlando

I just don't like driving....but I do have a huuuuuuuge soft spot for Vegas.
