What are your favorite makers of button-up shirts?

Trying to revive GS's old thread, who do you like for button-up shirt makers? (RTW)

Lately I've been really into Paul Smith shirts, which seem to fit me really well. Shirts with my neck size are also a perfect slim fit for me.

Some others I like include:

Maison Martin Margiela, who has a perfect navy blue shirt,

Barba, which seem to be remarkably slim fitting,

APC, who has perhaps my favorite white shirt, and also has a great tan/white shirt which appears to be on clearance

Band of Outsiders, whose track record speaks for itself.

What are your favorites?

i used to be really into apc button-downs for the fit, but the construction has left a lot to be desired in recent years and they are getting too short for me to wear (and i'm only 6'). so currently i am only wearing seize sur vingt and troglodyte homunculus.

I dont have many, but my favourite right now is my black W&H because it feels much better and fits better than any other one I own at the moment.

My favorite shirt that I own is a blue and green check Band of Outsiders shirt.

I saw a really awesome green houndstooth Troglodyte Homunculus shirt at a store while I was in Miami last week, but alas, they only had one large left.

it depends. most apc button downs are have a totally different fit and finishing. the sizing is also ridiculously inconsistent. the western shirt from this season barely fits me at a size 3 and i've always worn size 2 shirts before.

H&M fits me surprisingly well, so I'm going to stick with them for a while. Can't beat the price either :p

Paul Smith mainline shirts fit me the best. London and PS need some nip/tuck for a perfect fit

Duncan Quinn dress shirts also fit me very well, near perfect.

Agnes b shirts i've been into for years, their "corps d'etroit" skinny fit line had an amazing fit

Band of Outsiders has a great cut, if it's the back boxpleated style. the other ones are too full for me

Ralph Lauren custom fit buttonups are really well fitting, would be near perfect if not for the polo logo

the Trovatas I've tried fit well, but I've never bought one

for short sleeves, Fred Perry's latest s/s buttonup has a great fit, not as boxy as previous years....and Ben Sherman made in UK 'mod fit' shirt is also perfect for me

I buy based on the quality of the cotton and then worry about getting some alterations.

Anyway, I wear the following:
Troglodyte homunculus.

Aside from the already listed brands and MTM/Bespoke:
"¢Margiela: good cut, not too slim, just perfect. Some of the detailing/treatments add an interesting touch. (BTW anybody noticed a change in the cut of their line 14 jackets, they used to fit me weird and I decided MM blazers/suits weren't for me but I may have to revise my position and get a few items, like another black suit )
"¢Prada: Shirts with 2% elastane or something similar have a cold, machine made industrial feel to them that goes really well with what I wear and help me dissociate myself from the bespoke craftsmanship trad crowd. Their slimmer fit with the smallish collars look better on me than Dior Homme, fabrics are usually cooler and no stupid bees.
"¢Zegna Z look surprisingly nice IMHO, a lot better than their mainline tents with boring fabrics (but they're shoddily made blablablaqualityblablabla)
"¢Stussy: got a 5 y/o shirt from them that I love, checkered, button down collar, square bottom, and looks great under a sweater. I should have a quality maker copy the cut.

Band of Outsiders untucked ....

Love the fit, but I'm now gravitating towards just getting some solid poplin shirts and having 'em tailored with darting and such... change the button color too... I like the whole black buttons on a white shirt.

yea i had my white shirts made with gray MoP buttons, the contrast looks sharp and adds some visual interest

BoO shirts are a catch-22 for me, the shorter length is a bit of a bother since I'm a tucker, but the fit is great.
