I'm going to a bar/club, and either wearing a suit with an open collared shirt, or dressing up raw denim with some sort of shirt/tie/vneck sweater/blazer type variation. I'd like to get some more ideas, so what does everyone else plan on wearing??

For me, it will be all family day/evening, smart getup seems appropriate nevertheless.
I am currently feeling like sporting bow-tie for the first time ever. The rest will most likely be light blue shirt, sport coat plus gray flannels or a navy DB suit.

Will either be in Vegas or at some club.

Either way, nothing more dressy than a sport coat, I'm afraid.

For the first time in several years, I might be at a white tie affair this January.

We can compare pics then...I hope that you have a silk plush top hat.

Fair warning on the top hat...white tie needs it.
