F'in' nice shirt. However, when you told cielo to lose the Giants shirt, and said go Blue, and I said F the D's, how can you not know what I am talking about? [IMG] You can't have that shirt and make that remark and not know about the Giants vs. Dodgers rivalry. Wait, is something tugging at my leg?

W H D I know W "F the D" M? S. I'm N a M R. Get it? Sorry, but when ya don't quote me and out of the blue (no pun intended) say "F the D"...Does "Dodgers" really make your skin crawl that much to type out? And thanks for the compliments. I picked it up off ebay a few years back from the original owner who lived in South Pas. $15 and I was the only bidder. I love wearing this to Dodgers Stadium because I almost always get the old ushers or consession people who come up to me and tell me how they worked that series, followed by the immediate question "Were you even alive back then?" This thing is paper thin but somehow has held up over the past 25 years. Definitely the cherry in my t-shirt collection. I also have a tee from the original Live-Aid in Africa that I picked up for... $1. I'll wear that one soon and post it up here. For the record, I actually like SF (the city, the pizza, just not the team). I'll post some pics of tees I picked up around Chinatown 4 years back that must have been from a surplus stock of tourist crap from 1984 because of the material/labels. They were sized small and shrank awkwardly the 1st wash but are waaay too cool to trash.

I think its pretty hilarious all this talk about us SuperFuturians dressing so much... darker than traditional StyleForumers. I simply don't know what they're talking about.

^^ whodini, fair enough, I thought my reference was more obvious than that, but I see your point. [IMG]

I don't really take the rivalry that seriously, myself, it was meant more as a joke. I have no problem typing Dodgers.

I do love that vintage shirt, nice pickup, especially at that price!

I have also experienced some odd shrinkage with shirts bought in Chinatown. There are some good bars and restaurants there, though!

Your feet melt into the floor. Tangerine, it's good to hear I'm not the only one who's bought stuff from around there. It was one of these "3 for $10" tourist places but when my ex and I saw the kinds of tees, our jaws dropped. Since you've been a good sport, I'll post pics now but I just realized my favorite tee must have been left in LA. It was a detailed view of the city (not just a silhouette) but completely done in one shade of blue. Looks awesome. [IMG] [IMG]
