    cultpop, I love those painted walmart slips you posted earlier. I did the same thing with a pair of mono-black chuck ripoffs. I figured a sparkly gold lightning bolt would draw attention away from the apparent Walmart-brand shoddiness. And you can't beat the price.

    thanks for the comments re. jacket and jeans. the bj is an original. i bought most of my collection a few years ago on eBay. there's a resurgence of demand and the prices are much higher now.

    Yeah man. I don't like flipped collars too. The thing is I just put my sweater on when I took the pic, and it was not adjusted yet.

    its metal. pretty heavy. some of the links are "frayed" and it is constantly catching on the bottom hems of my shirt but i still love it.
