1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Thanks ts4them for the kind words. The only real disproportion I'm talking about is very long legs relative to my torso. The lowish rise and cuffs on those jeans help to minimize that, though the short AA hoodie doesn't help. Not meaning to sound bitchy about my body; I realize I'm lucky to be naturally slim. Are you slouching these to counteract the high rise? I want to get a pair but I'm not sure about that 11" rise since I'm not long-waisted.
Yeah, I wear them pretty low. Almost certainly low enough to be fined in Delcambre, LA....

i'm always a fan of people that can pull off such sharp casual looks as this but it feels so effortless - such a wonderful breath of fresh air

only suggestion i can make is to unroll your sleeves so they are only rolled up twice and then push them a little more up on your forearms i.e. what carson kressley would call zhuging (sp?)

i think it will make the look a little more effortless. plus it will look alot less 'look at my hamhocks for forearms'

Your suggestion is how I used to "roll," but somehow I just kept on "rolling." Point well taken and will give a try with my next posting. Thanks for the critique.

put them on a pic hosting service like imageshack or tinypic, then put them in your message with [IMG] tags around them.

Thanks, will try with my next posting. However, I'm not computer literate in the least.

Also drizzt3117, I've been following the forum religiously for a little over a month now and have enjoyed the banter regarding your style (more specifically the fit). IMHO you've got it going on well and the brands you sport are damn nice. However, with your build and sharp jacket/jeans look, I think the shirt tucked in w/ a slim belt might add a bit of pinache and a slimming effect to boot. Just a noob's observation.

Forum advice: is the white belt too much, or just right?

Shirt is Michael J Krell, and fits wonderfully. [IMG]

Thanks, I do sport that look at times, but I tend to eschew it because I don't like it to look like I simply replaced the bottom half of a suit with jeans. That said, I think the sillhouette may certainly be sleeker.

I think the white belt would look a little sleeker if the shoes were dark, but still is cool just peaking out from under the shirt hem (that's my method as well usually).

Sauce, white belt looks fine. Something soothing about white on top, middle and bottom only.

GetSmart, That's the best pic of your tatts we've seen yet. [IMG]

Fantastic fit on those Finns, and I wouldn't have expected lace-ups + t-shirt to work so well, but it really does. A++.

berlin report, yeah, the matchiness is what I was worried about.

I'm down with those perfect PS laceups and the non-stacking hem. Did you have those altered and if so, after or before soak (they don't look like they've been washed).

thanks, I washed the jeans once, inseam shrank about 1.5", then had them hemmed. These work well with no break since the leg is slim. A normal jean would look odd without some break/stacking
