1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Of which 99% of them are square ended. I can't believe that kid had never seen one.

Are you referring to me or to rover?

If the former, call me "that kid" again and I will come to NYC and flood your apartment with a foot of water so even your highwater pants will not save your clothes!

    whose rover?

Lol NVM. Rover is a fairly new member (might be x-member by now) who stirred things up in this thread with a couple of earlier posts due to his "direct" style of critiquing.

Awesome jacket, where did you get it??

Dirt cheap on ebay actually, though it came with a Barneys tag. I'm surprised I don't see more Nice Collective around here, they make great jackets. A lot of their stuff is overly detailed, but they still churn out at least 1-2 cool jackets each season.

Superbobo, you are the king of linen shirts. I am envious.

Set the timer, place the camera on a stable object, let the autofocus work it's magic, then start walking toward the camera... done.

I LOVE that mural! I've been meaning to ask you- who makes those brown boots you wear (not pictured here).

Yeah, that mural is great. I couldn't find a better angle on it, unfortunately, without a tripod. The boots you're referring to are probably my Bronx boots. Not the greatest quality, but the styling is good, and in any case my tastes in footwear will probably change before they give out.

Today, all right side JUST for Joel Cairo:

A little washed out by the sunlight, but it's actually a pretty good representation of the color of the Greycasts I'm wearing, and the thigh fading in general.
