whodini: That jacket looks awesome, and nice overall combination.

fatty: The baggy cargos contrast nicely with your frame and the fitted tank. Very cute and casual. Love the glasses, too.

I don't know what AF assosciation means Arethusa, but I know what you mean about dumb shirts. I will add however that I've never fallen off a barstool and wouldn't wear that kind of thing to such an affair. Thanks King Francis [IMG]

Excellent. So my question is..were do you buy your gear?, especially the Visvims!.

when I travel and online. I buy stuff here very rarely, theres only a couple of stores in the country I like. for basic streetwear its ok, but if you want something more exclusive or interesting theres like one store with very limited stuff [IMG]

Hah!! which one? did you go to Liberation Dance party in DC or TaxLo in Baltimore?
Garutachi in DC. DJs played good stuff, but the live acts were lame. On the SF front, one of the bartenders had a cool breakbeat science shirt.

Bona Drag, I was wearing a Uniqlo snorkel-ish hoodie.

Baron, awesome pic and cool mix of pieces.

Fatty, inspired by the tank top thread?

A bit late on a couple of these, but Baron, great ensemble; drizz, very well done - really feeling this one, and you've def been answering the call lately; braid is sharp; and jpgm is one lucky bloke...[IMG]

And MJK/Rye, I was pretty surprised too, but I think we're seeing the Reds really find their form; they really underachieved for the first half of the Premiership campaign, but they'll no doubt be feeling like worldbeaters after a come-from- behind win at the Camp Nou. Even though Barca's without their best finisher, that's a damned impressive result...

Late on this, but whodini, best fit I've seen from you yet. The jacket is great. The outfit could have used a nice pair of boots (or maybe those charcoal chucks you were talking about getting?), but other than that, love it. jpgm, lucky man. [IMG]

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Similarly to what Cheap would say, I was blessed with a body that looks good in clothing made in Nebraska (that's just east of Puerto Rico, right, MJK?). The only other person I've seen wearing the Whodini is drizzt. Get buying, people. I feel the boots, Sauce. Tomorrow's the b-day and already have a few things waiting for me including some purcell's and a few boots. Actually, I could use some advice. There are a pair of chelseas I've been looking at in the US in a shiny black since I already ordered a different pair of stained brown boots. They sell the same chelseas I want down here but only in two kinds of browns, including an oiled chocolate that really stands out to me. I guess the question is how popular/versatile are black boots (read: are they worth waiting a few months for)?

I think I said Puerto Rico because I had "America" from The Westside Story in my head...

No, that's fine. I'm sure anyone south of the border goes "Ay Ay Ay" when something's spicy, drinks tequila instead of water or gatorade, and...did you just admit to watching a musical? [IMG]

How much black do you usually wear? I wear a decent amount of black and gray, and black boots are quite versatile for me, but with dark jeans they don't provide much contrast. I'd say if you don't wear much black, brown is more versatile (esp since I've come to like brown + gray better than black + gray for a lot of outfits), but it never hurts to have a pair of black boots around. There are some outfits that just scream for them.
