^^^ your locations are the shit man

    Thanks, man, just Illadelph....

sauce, what do you set your camera on and dont you feel like an ass clown when people see you posing for the camera?

I just set it on whatever's handy, and I don't usually take pics where people are around. Philly has tons of narrow alleys that I use as scenic shortcuts on my walk to/from work (which is usually when I take my pics), so I usually just set the timer, start walking when the light starts flashing faster, do it once more for good measure, pack up the camera, and go on about my business.

I bought my first plaid shirt today. I'm still not sure how to wear it, so please comment on this outfit. Is it appropriate to wear a collared shirt and zip up hoodie? [IMG] [IMG]

I like it....this looks good, the sartorial equivalent of a good mac n cheese, a go to no-nonsense comfort dress. It looks more natural (to me anyways) than the cardigan outfits you were showing which looked awkward for one reason or another. The collared shirt adds a bit more than if it were just a tshirt or polo

FTW? You're Canadian and this is your first plaid shirt?

haha I've always equated plaid with farmers, so I've avoided it religiously. I recently decided that I need more variation in my clothes though, so I dropped my standars slightly [IMG] Yes, cardigans are a bit of a mystery to me. I've never owned one before this winter, so I guess I'm still learning the ropes. FWIW, I think I've come up with a cardigan combo that might work. I'll post it next time I wear it...

The shirts fine, it's the AF1's that now look awkward.

This is a weird one - not the cover I'm used to. Is this a Euro only pressing or something? Any hardcore music geeks know what the deal is here? Anyway, really like your fit today x666x - good balance between not-too-skinny jeans and a not-too-bulky parka. Drizz, again, those Nudies look great. Stazy, I think the whole thing works really well, AF1's included*. I usually throw a colored button up on under a plain sweater, hoodie, or even a thermal henley - to follow up on our discussion last week, it's a great way to add just a touch of color and character, and lets you keep shortsleeves in the rotation in winter. Cheap - your pretty face is going to hell. *I mean, they're not awful, are they?

    Agreed.

That outfit calls for a subtler shoe. Your plaid is your focal point, don't be muddying it up with flashy kicks.

Rye, amazing fit even by your standards; hat looks great (UO - who knew?)

Baron - sweater is brilliant, and the boots look sharp too.

'Cause I'm curious, to Rye and others who've done it both places - better thrifting in NYC or LA? Other nominees? Apparently the Jville thrift shops will cough up some real gems every once in a while...

id say the best thrifting is gonna be in a place that has alot of money and no vintage market...

jacksonville is good because the only vintage shops in town are aimed towards women. if there was a market for the kind of stuff i find id have no luck.
