1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I'm not an engineer, but it could be because the road salt deteriorates the concrete, rebar, or the iron supports of the bridge. I'm probably completely wrong, and the road crews are just lazy, or the city just doesn't care. Or, they're concerned about the salt being so close to the river, even though in the end, all the road salt they dump will eventually find it's way back into the water system one way or another. And when they salt things, it's overkill... they dump 3x as needed, and spill it everywhere. It's nasty shit, and causes a lot of damage to the environment. In most Canadian cities, you rarely see grass growing near streets... salt kills it all.
You forget most Canadian cities have about 10x as many trees than all of NYC anyways... but yeah, that's pretty crappy. Can't they just like, take a huge flat iron and strap it to the back of a pickup truck?

I'll see if I can get a shot behind my drums later. I think we've got a band.

Baron, you need to stop reading my mind buddy.

I was going to post up a red madras polo (not really a polo) with white jeans and sand suede wingtips this weekend for this party in bh this weekend.
