Hey, the man was stuck in Iraq for months, with nothing to do but stare at strapping young Army lads for hours a day. What did you expect?

    Oops, forgot about that.

Do you plan on layering a lot with it? If you're going to be putting sweaters/thermals/etc under there, then I think it's fine. It might be fine anyway, really; I'm not sure that tailoring is going to change much unless you go all out. It could be slimmer in the body, but then you'd have to do the sleeves, too. Plus, it's a parka, and it fits like a parka.

    I think I'm saying 's all good.

I think the parka looks fine. Maybe a tad large but I'm assuming if yer wearing it you got a lot of stuff underneath as well so a fitted fit isnt going to be practical. Parkas are meant to be functional....stylishness is a secondary factor. but yours already looks like it is so it's good in the hood

Does the blazer look like it's too tight or is it just me? Comments?

I agree that just buttoning the middle will help it hang better. The button placement is a bit odd, fitting 3 buttons into a space that would better be suited for 2 buttons. The tight fit looks good with the overall look (jeans, cons, untied tie)...a more normal/proper fit will look out of place with it all.

Yeah, I think it looks good; not all outerwear needs to be cut slim. As I've said to others before, you're a brave man buying a big ticket item from Japan without the possiblity of returning it (or does rice offer that service as well? I would imagine it would try his patience, and cost a boatload). Perhaps I just need to up my "flipping stuff on eBay/SF/Steez" skills.

Jacket looks fine, but I think a skinnier tie and more tapered (and darker) jeans would help pull that look off a little better.

Looks pretty good as is, though.

The part I would want to tailor is the area in the waist/thigh. The way it fits now it feels too "drapey" But maybe that is how a parka should fit. ANyways, today, just [attempting] to study, off to the gym later. [IMG]
