DDML, awesome photo! nice to see what you're wearing in good light, as it usually looks too dark on my monitor. The jacket is killa

Whipcord is a tight woolen twill.

This may be my inaugural SW&D post. None of the pieces are worth calling out, except the dark chocolate Polo boots. Accessories included black Zippo lighter & custom titanium folder. It was cold this evening. [IMG] Regards, Huntsman

You guys are a tougher room than MC, so thanks. Brian, yeah I wear the most boring jeans, but if you guys knew what I do in the darn things! Can't do that to Sugarcanes, ya know? The thing I really think is neat in premium denim are the natural indigo jobs, but mucho dinero. Can't buy that stuff on ebay for peanuts, like the jacket, which I have to say I really dig as well. I'm an epaulette/military/safari freak when it comes to jackets, sooo...I bought this NWT on eBay a few months ago even though it's (gasp) Old Navy. Like $15 w/shipping. There's even a medium up now: http://cgi.ebay.com/new-mens-classic...QQcmdZViewItem It's mostly black, but with enough lighter grey fibers to give it a charcoal cast. I'm in a medium, at 6' and about 165lbs. ~Huntsman

That is a cool coat. I'm sure you'll hear it, but I'll say it first: you absolutely can do those things in premium denim, and you will reap better rewards for it. The more they save your ass (sometimes literally) the better friends they become.

Especially true of workwear stuff. No, I wouldn't do anything in a pair of Sevens (and I do mean anything), but I wouldn't hesitate to rough it in a pair of Sugarcanes.

I'm just pissed that that jacket's more like $35. I'd grab it in a second at 15.
