DDML, looking sharp.

cultpop, I'm kind of a sucker for the fitted-but-sloppy(ish)-buttonup-with-jeans look. It's my go-to outfit pretty much 90% of the time. So take that bias into account when I say this, but I think that may be my favorite outfit you've posted.

Well I downloaded the manual and figured out my timer.
So I will start basic as I'm just going to a pub for a quick drink and it's a bit warmer out tonight. So this is casual casual for me.

Borrelli Navy 3 Button Cotton Zero Padding Sportcoat patch pockets
( I just threw it on a nabbed this pic I need to get this jacket pressed but it looks great with no padding when pressed)
BR Grey Stretch Cotton T Shirt
AG Jeans Filmore
Vass Cordovan U last Ankle boots
Pantherella Navy Socks
Rolex Sub.

I like the look, it's one I use fairly often, yeah, the fillmores have a pretty pronounced bootcut though, which I don't necessarily mind, especially with boots, but in here you're going to get static for it

I looked thru some of the pics and I can see how the very tapered thin, straight leg rocker look seems to be a preference.

and lots of tennis shoes with jeans. I almost always wear ankle boots or dress shoes with jeans, I keep the kicks for training in the gym. I really don't like tennis shoes with jeans, makes me feel like I'm a little kid although I do like the sport sneakers in suede or various colors, and the puma type racing shoes, just not pure white.. But I do like some of the rebel looks on here and some of the more real world looks where I'm not wearing a Attolini suit and such. Plus I couldn't fit a straight leg jeans as I weight lift alot and my calves just will not get thru there. Peace Dude

i am also a big fan of the long sleeved sloppily worn shirt. i have lots of long sleeve tops that i can finally wear now that the weather is getting cooler.

these shoes are very polarizing but they always get a reaction. im going to keep rocking them.

Yeah, I lift a lot too and am a somewhat bigger guy so I also can't fit into super skinny jeans, but I've been leaning a bit towards more traditional cuts like 501 repros lately. I tend to avoid a lot of small tennis shoes as well, I like wearing dressier shoes with jeans and have been playing with the looks somewhat. I like boots also but haven't been wearing them quite as often. Lately I've been experimenting with incorporating more formal pieces into casual outfits using pattern or texture to make a more formal outfit more casual. A lot of the time just substituting jeans into an outfit that could be worn to work just doesn't work cleanly, although sometimes it could. If you're interested in expanding your more casual outfit a bit you could look at something like the 5EPs in straight or bootcut, both are cut pretty generously through the thighs and calves, while still maintaining a very clean look, with much better construction than anything you'll buy in a mall/dept store, made of great selvedge denim, arguably the best jeans made in the US. I believe they are a 1947 501 repro, so they have a slightly higher rise, the bootcut is lower rise but not quite to the degree of 7FAM or AG.

As you can see from this picture, the bootcut is much more subtle while still being fairly sleek.
5ep1826_large.jpg
The straight down is a bit higher rise.

They also make the low down bootcut with mild distressing. I own and love these.
