I've noticed that my sartorial interests and what I'm really into change over time. When I first started visiting the forum it was because I was really into custom dress shirts. After a while, I got out of the dress shirt phase and got really into nice shoes. Right now, I'm in a phase where I'm really into suits (e.g., picking up nice suits on STP and getting a bespoke suit made).

So, what are you really into right now?

Shoes (slowly conducting a much-needed upgrade to my collection, thanks to SF input) and pocket squares.

Last year was the year of shirts (orders placed at Brooks MTM, Harvie & Hudson, CEGO, Charvet MTM via Bergdorf and Paris)

This year is suits / sportscoats and odd trousers.

I'm *always* up for Paul Smith shoes. I only have 6 pairs since the store opened in LA last year but it's a pricey habit to fund at $4-600/pair and my size sells out before their clearance sale so if I see and like it I have to buy at full price.

This season I'm finding myself more into corduroys, and sweaters, even tho I feel like I collect sweaters since they end up not getting worn enough

*last year I was really into sportjackets

It used to be shoes, then shoes and suits, now shoes sportscoats and sweaters. Hmmm....maybe I need to drop one interest before moving on to another. I'm not sure how long my bank account can continue to support my habit.

Excellent post. It used to be ties and, more recently, sportsjackets. Now it's definitely shoes.

Shoes, pocket squares and Eva Green

I'm done with ties, shirts and trousers. Maybe another sportcoat or two and suits will come later as I don't wear them too often these days.

I'm following some of the other posters above, with shoes and pocket squares holding the most interest for me at the moment.

Yep. I've just been bitten by the ankle boot bug about three hours ago (seriously). I received my PRL Redding chelsea boots today and they have literally captivated me. The masculine elegance and the comfort they provide are unparalleled by anything else I've had the pleasure to own. I'm actually enjoying them right now as I type this b/c they feel so good to wear.

Went on a shell cordovan belt binge lately, buying all that I could lay my hands on in every shade I could.

Went on a Lobb binge before that.

Coming up soon I think I am going to go on a bespoke shirt binge, as I've decided I don't really like any of my shirts.

Also on my list of must-haves are:
- bespoke butterfly strap loafer
- bespoke navy suit
- overcoat
- brown briefcase
- leather weekend bag
