It's appreciated. I'll probably bang around 80 pages today so I'll be finished in a couple of days. I'm looking forward to your comments.

At the end of the book, I sat in bed for about 5 minutes, just stunned. It is an incredibly powerful novel.

More Pratchett fans!! Have you seen the books made into television movies? On a relevant note, I'm still trudging through Anti-Intellectualism in American Life by Richard Hofstadter. I've finally made it to the progressive era and how Theodore Roosevelt is the perfect example of the perfect intellectual. The books itself is fascinating but somewhat dated.

I just read Best Served Cold, by Joe Abercrombie. It's fantasy, and more of the same from him. Last night I started Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman, by Haruki Murakami.

Just finished An Infinity of Little Hours which was very good. Got a copy of A Brief History of Brazil by Eduardo Bueno from some Brazilian promotion organization. It is pretty good. Going to finish it either today or tomorrow.

not sure what I should read next. Thinking about Dracula or You Can't be President. And if anyone could offer a suggestion for a good collection of essays I'd be much obliged.
