The year is young and we never know what it will bring, but personally I have a few things on my calendar that are sigificant and some that I am just looking forward to. I would like to hear everyone else's.

Mine are as follows:
April - The Masters Tournament. Never been, but I just love the tradition and the signs of spring
May 24th - I get married to the woman I love
May 25th through June 2nd - Our honeymoon. Dublin, Newcastle, London
May 29th - I get to play Royal County Down, one of the most historic golf courses in the world and my first links experience.

I am looking forward to the day my twin babies will sleep more, and I will start getting sex on a regular basis, again.

I am looking forward to my 9 month old's first steps. Thankfully she slpet through the night at a young age and she now sleeps 12 hours straight at night.

However, I am looking foward to when my 3 1/2 yr old will begin sleeping through the night in her own bed instead of coming into our room.

I am also looking forward to getting a new job that I am interested in, rather than the immensely boring and unchallenging job I have now. I have a few prospects brewing again and an interview tomorrow. Wish me luck.

I am looking forward to being one year closer to retirement, drinking all I can while maintaining the semblance of good health, and just generally enjoying life all I can.

Aside from the first part, I wholeheartedly agree with this.

I'm pretty much just in it for the sex this year, I think. Anything beyond that is a bonus.

Oh, and athletics? You're playing golf on your honeymoon? Bold.

Yep. And I compromised by not playing twice. Just once.

The Gifted Child is finally in an orchestra where no parental concessions need to be made for the music, so I'm looking forward to hearing Brahms 4, Ruslan und Ludmilla overture, and other great music from that which I created. Really cool, moving stuff. Really, nothing compares with watching your kids grow up.

And also hoping that work is not as oppressive or combative as last year, oy.

I wouldn't say I'm looking most forward to it this year, but I'm definitely praying for a good outcome.

Just got Nick Swisher though, that ain't bad news!

Plus, I think that App State is no longer on the Wolverine's schedule this year!

True that, but when they start to have kids of their own things get really, really cool.

Enjoy yourself Checks.

I'm going tonight to listen to vocalist Rubette3 perform: a solo, a duet and I think a small chorus. Must remember extra hankies.
