Just because I think Cash did such a stellar rendition of Hurt? I saw NIN when you were probably still using training wheels. About 1989 or '90 at St. Andrew's Hall in Detroit. That is a classic venue, 1000 seats, in Bricktown where you used to be able to see bands on the way up as well as classic Detroit stuff like Iggy Pop. I saw him, Tool, Soundgarden, and MBV there as well as probably a few I'm forgetting. In the basement is another classic Detroit venue, The Shelter. That was more DJ and rap and is the venue that Eminem plays repeatedly in 8 Mile.
Alright, I'm trying to boost my reaction score because my customary ratio is sliding. No more self-indulgence: just beats everybody else in the world knows but people on this threak, except for Omega, do not. And Pio knows, but knowledge and taste are two different things...
@Blake Stitched Blues -- you were active when I poasted this same exact Roses' track, but denied me my thumb, at a time when my sole intention was to garner thumbs. Please click the link to this poast and give me my thumb. Incidentally, one of my thumbs is up ******, so I could really, really use another one. Also, @derum follow the link to see my Orange Juice track. You must like that track or I don't know what.
