One time I ran into Jim out on the strip, and I asked him how were tricks. He said he was digging a band called Love really hard, and he was going to skip out on a gig that night to catch 'em. We dropped some acid and caught the last half hour of their gig at the Whisky a Go Go. We hung with Arthur afterwards who was trying to go see Lennon because it was his last night in town. Security wouldn't let us into hotel, and Arthur got really belligerent and insisted the front desk call his room. Lennon said he didn't know who we were.
