1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I was going to commission a bespoke Kick Ass costume (have my mom sew it up, same thing...) but it turns out I might be flying on that day. I'll have to wait and see if I'll be spending Halloween night on an airplane [IMG] or flying into SFO early enough to spend the night in the city [IMG]

I haven't decided. It's a choice between "slutty Abe Lincoln" or "slutty astronaut".

Wear a suit and tape some legal papers to it. Your costume would be a "law suit."
That's actually....pretty neat. A suit made out of statutes would be pretty funny, too.

I've changed my mind a little. I'm leaning towards slutty Abe Lincoln in a cornfield.

    Mountie. Women love the Mounties.

I have 3 rules for costumes:

    1. Cheap: you're only going to use it once.
    2. Photogenic: More women will want to take pics with you/comment on your costume. Easy opener.
    3. Mobility: Nobody wants to grind with a bulky costume.

    I agree.

I was a carebear last year. The ladies loved it, but I was sweating like crazy.

LOL. Have you considered a cornfield? Considerably more breeze.

^ Do you carve pumpkins? I made the one in my avatar Halloween 2007, right before Obama's election.
Someone should suggest a costume for me. I can't even imagine.
Have you ever considered being a cornfield? I can give you tips if you'd like, this might be my first year as well.

Actually, I'm thinking more along the lines of dressing up as a pot still. That way, once the drunkie SF'ers come around, we then have the circle of drunk.

    Thanks.

Use undercover to wear and make slits in it to tie in the corn stalks and corn. Here is a diagram I made:

And then throw corn kernels at people to maximize the effect?

I do not normally dress up for halloween because I am not a homosexual.

I thought halloween costumes were for those 8 and younger.

So on Halloween while you guys are on spending your night on styleforum wearing your expensive clothes and monocles participating in inside jokes and circle jerks on the internet, we will be partying it up with scantily clad young ladies experiencing their inner slut. What young man would want to do that, right? To each his own I guess.
