As an aside, i find vodka completely uninteresting, but the wife likes it in place of gin/rum because i guess she doesn't like flavors. Any suggestions? I've a bottle of rain and haku, which I guess are cheap but good, but don't know if I'm missing anything. Honestly it just seems like the place of vodka is to add alcohol content without adding any flavor.
... and it's first place... with gin a distant second

Only 175 liters produced and in this bottle alone you have ~750ml-1000ml, that's some exclusivity you have there. Nice!

That’s the world of good mezcal for you! I have a number of bottles where the number is out of less than 200. These two are probably my most limited:

The sierrudo is 69/82 (and absolutely phenomenal) and I have two bottles of the zacatoro (one to drink and another to save) and they’re out of a batch of 48.

Both are special releases from Tahona Mercado (which IMO may have one of the best, if not best, agave selection out there, that you can order online at any rate). I should really get another bottle of the sierrudo before it’s gone, maybe the best mezcal I’ve had.

Fire Sun Blood Orange IPA at Fritz Family Brewers (Niwot, CO)

This is a solid beer, and a great stop during a gravel ride, as the brewery is about a quarter mile off the LoBo Trail.

I had an excellent negroni riff last night.

Empress Gin
Aperol
Antica Formula
Scrappy's Lavender Bitters

I will have in my possession a bottle of said bitters tomorrow (thanks, Bezos!)

This is a seriously smooth and tasty negroni variant. The lavender bitters are incredible and I highly suggest trying this drink out.

Im doing something similar. Forgot i was out of vermouth and had poured St Agrestis and Old 4th Ward Gin and added Aperol. It needs the vermouth but it's close.

Pipeworks' Presh. It has no flavor. Like you might be able to say it has subtle hops flavor but it is closer to a bitter carbonated water. Honestly debating if it is worth the calories.
