Makers Mark Manhattan: 4 ounces of gasoline (as The Chairman would have called it), 1 ounce of Dolin Sweet Vermouth, heavy dash of Angostura and a a couple of Fabbri cherries from Bologna. Shaken and served up.
Was the broken heart even real? Was our empathy in vain?
I don't know if shaking a Manhattan is forgiveable.

Instead of doing the "splash" of spring water, I sometimes shrink a cube down to grape size and plop that in.Along similar boozing no nos, I do enjoy a cube or two of ice in my scotch from time to time.
