I’m not fond of any of the Cutwater canned cocktails that I’ve tried, save these Pina Colada ones. Squeezed in a half-lime, a pour of Appleton Signature, crushed ice, half-can of the Cutwater and an Appleton 12yo floater. They are really good. Big fan.

Finley & Garf x Kind Design Canyonlands River Crusher Hazy IPA (Boulder, CO).

My neighborhood is blessed with some great local breweries. I’m still not sure which one is my favorite, but Finkel & Garf is certainly in the top 3, and this is one of their best beers.

For those in search of Suze uses… Haven’t tried myself, but sounds nice.

I'm going to need to try that one. Need to get some yellow chartreuse though. My two favorite suze cocktails currently are:

The Stone Knife:
2 ozs Reposado Tequila (i like mezcal as well)
1/2 oz Suze
1/4 oz Tempus Fugit Creme de Menthe (so good, don't use something crappy)
2 Droppers of Bittermens Xocolatl Mole Bitters

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass, add ice, and stir until well diluted. Strain over a large rock in a double old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a fresh lemon twist & enjoy!

Kingston Soundsystem:
1.5 oz hampden rum fire
0.5 oz suze
0.75 oz soursop juice
0.75 oz lime juice

Shake with cubed ice, strain into a rocks glass with cubed ice. I like some kind of dehydrated citrus (blood orange or lime) for garnish.

Excited to have found a bottle of this. Was chatting with the bartenders at our local prohibition style bar about cocktails and interesting ingredients and they gave me a pour of this. They use it as the special ingredient in a lot of their cocktails. Very interesting stuff.

Good on you. :) The kingston soundsystem is really interesting, for some reason it really amplifies the bitter of the suze. Whereas the stone knife you get a lot more of the sweet.

Suze is just a crazy beverage. Like I get aftertastes of it for like an hour after drinking.

My own creation again. These are so good. I need to come up with a name… maybe “Time for Thyme” :p

2 oz Bols Genever
0.5 oz Bigallet Thym (so so good)
0.25 oz green chartreuse
0.75 oz lime

shake and strain. Sage leaf for garnish. Make sure you slap the sage between your hands (such a good tip I heard) to release the oils, flavors snd smells.
