Dee-yay on the end...

I pronounce it more like "jyay" at the end. Not sure if that is more or less accurate, but it sounds vaguely more French based on my extended but highly undistinguished career as a student of the French language.

Drinking a variant of a mezcal negroni - got the recipe from the Patterson House in Nashville. Substitutes half of the campari for Gifford's Passionfruit and adds a few drops of absinthe. Delicious.

Just came back from a great Italian meal.
I knew I'd be drinking a bunch, so I went with Aperol Spritzes.
After dinner, I introduced my friends to the wonderful world of digestivos.
In this case, it was Branca Menta.
I converted them, we had 4 rounds.

Back from camping and need of a nice drink.

Slightly modified Golden Barnacle. Too lazy to make some don’s mix so I just did 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice and a half oz golden falernum. Turned out really nice, even without any garnish. :p

Also I finally cracked open this probitas. Had a little on some ice and wow - this really is great. Buttery! If that’s even a thing for rum. What a great mouthfeel. Delicious!

Take two, trying some different rums. Definitely more golden this time around due to the lemon hart. Also a bit more of that Demerara from it, and more funk from the Rhum JM. Both very good.
