Each of those Celtic Casks were only 63 bottle lots. If you can land the 34 in particular, I recommend it. That's a 19 year old and was finished in both bourbon and sherry casks @ 49% ABV. A couple of drops of water and it just explodes to life with the sherry notes filling the aroma. Incredible.

The gent that hosted this is incredibly knowledgeable about whisky in general and Irish whisky is his penchant being the son of Irish immigrants. He actually has been a judge for the annual Irish Whiskey Awards organized by the owner of the Celtic Whiskey Shop in Dublin, largely recognized as the best place to buy whisky of all persuasions in Ireland, and possibly the world (it's one best whisky retailer in the world from Whisky Magazine multiple times.)

Had a wee tasting this afternoon. Some of these were truly spectacular. The Spots, the Celtic, and that old Perth is simply the smoothest Scotch I've ever tasted.
