I don't think I was specifically able to taste duck fat (or distinguish it from any other fat) but the drink was good and I'm definitely feeling it this morning.

Three spirits in one drink is a hangover waiting to happen. :) The older I get, the more I prefer sours to alcohol-intensive drinks.

Had a head to head tasting last night. The 17 won easily.

@Fueco Try not to be so cranky. Yes, I was referring to the duck fat wash three posts above mine (“^^^”), which I also stated may actually taste good, even though it sounds gross to me.

Jumping on the manhattan train with a new rye. Tasting pretty good!
Along with some other stuff, I am picking up this tomorrow for the Manhattan chilled vault.

How do you like the starlino as compared to the luxardo?
That's what I aim to find out...
Starlino was highly recommended by the liquor distributor to my local mega-boozery.
He says better than Luxardo.

Forgot to pick up peychauds bitters so ended up making a modified sazerac with armagnac instead of cognac (which works so nicely), and a it of chocolate bitters instead. Quite delicious.

Now the question is since absinthe has gotten into the mix, should I do an arsenic and old lace next, or a necromancer?

Well I ended up doing both.

Necromancer time. With a name like that you'd think it would be a scarier, more intense cocktail. But I imagine it's just called that because it's tasty enough to wake the dead.
