I actually read the ******* tiki book and there's some interesting history there. My wife is a sucker for crab rangoon etc. so we might take a trip to the Trader Vic's in Emeryville sometime. They have a big waterfront patio that is open through COVID.

To cut a long story very short, the thing is I have this bottle of Jaegermeister so I naturally have to drink it to get my money's worth and hopefully some added value too in terms of enjoyment and/or expanded consciousness.
But drinking it neat is not after my taste, especially considering that you have to almost freeze it into ice to do so properly.
Enter the Jaegerbomb which is, whatever the reputation, one method of drinking it that I seem to enjoy so why not every now and then while the bottle lasts, it also pours and tastes nice, the color is great in a glass, and has some mild effects and nothing untoward as long as you stick to one or two at a time, without liability on my part.

that said and since jaeger is proving so controversial, maybe I will try some of these later
