How do you use Root? I bought it as an impulse purchase several years ago and can't figure out what to do with it.

I'm almost out of Creme de Violette, and I'm tempted not to buy another bottle. Then I realize how much I enjoy Aviations. Yes, I realize that all the cocktail nerds have moved on to other drinks, but I don't care.

The Ancho Reyes makes a killer mezcal old fashioned variant. I need to buy it again.
