Old Fashioned with Alberta Premium rye, this time with Fee Bros old fashioned bitters and West Indian Orange bitters, Amarena Fabbri cherry and thin slice of navel orange.

I preferred yesterday's with the Whiskey Barrel Aged Bitters. Note to self...

Had a couple of Waterloo Tripel 7 blond beers last night; a nice change of pace from the Singha lagers I was having before and after

I have been off the booze for a few weeks but managed to have some amazing Port when I fell off the wagon. It was a "single harvest" Colheita Port from 1980. It tasted of burnt caramel and almonds. Excellent.

So I poured myself some Hopslam, had a few sips, while talking to random people on omegle (was pretty bored)... before I finally talked to a guy who was new to the world of craft beer. Talked for like 40 minutes before I remembered I had a glass of Hopslam beside me... almost forgot about it

Was a nice Hopslam though, gotta pick up more of it later.

Schlafly APA. Went on a brewery tour and had a bunch of Schlafly, a local St. Louis brewery. Solid afternoon

Last Friday night: a (two, actually) Jones' Grimace. Rye, pedro ximenez sherry, lemon, ginger. And a sprig of thyme. Something like a rye, non-tomato bloody mary. Very, very, good.
