I've had trouble finding even a halfway decent curaçao in Ontario. All the LCBO seems to carry is one from McGuinness and they generally make the cheapest, most artificial-tasting liqueur replicas to be found on shelves anywhere.

I really like this beer - good Irish Stout, nice and dark and heavy, with a creamy bitter finish. I got a 4-pack of the 16 ounce cans which have the nitrogen bubble ('widget') inside which is a nice touch.

Hrmmm tonight I hadddd St. Bernardus Tripel (spicy! par with Westmalle and Chimay, not quite Karmeliet though :p) Orval (my favourite beer) a skunked Gouden Carolus that I poured out :<:<:< and now I'm having a Bell's Java Stout. Going to a brewpub for dinner and picking up some micros/belgians at the bottle shop on the way.

Have a sore throat/cold just now so I had a hot toddy, made with blended whisky, set honey, juice of half a lemon and boiling water. It's surprisingly effective and much nicer than a Lemsip
