Just wrapped an exceptionally productive (and slightly lucky) day of work, waiting for the wife to finish getting ready to go out for dinner, perfect time to be enjoying a Duvel and catching up on SF.

Wild Turker Rare Breed. I've had this bottle for awhile now and tonight is the first I have dipped into it. Still tastes like the kickin chicken i remember back in school but also has a couple of nice layers of vanilla, rye, and caramel.

Had two Casinos earlier, now a Gin Sling. It never fails to amaze me how fresh, quality ingredients make great cocktails.

Day before Canadian Club 12 year. Yesterday Jameson.. Today Chivas 12 year. I figure I need to do something different about my life yeah. About 5x each instance to accompany a meal. I'm satisfied.

I've probably drank a little more than I should have. Came back from our first round of golf. Poured a big G&T (huge tumbler, about 6 oz Hendricks, top off with tonic). Split a bottle of wine with Mrs. Piob. Two more G&T like the first and now, my version of crossing a Cyrus manhattan with a Tango manhattan:

2 oz Cyrus treated bourbon (took 10 year Eagle Rare and steeped with vanilla pod and orange rind)

    1 oz Vya sweet

    .25 Marascino liqueur

    1 eye dropper Tango bitters

    Yum.

Beer was good. Tasted like coffee and was smooth. It felt like it didnt have any extra gas pumped into the beer. Im not much of a beer drinker (saw that it won an award, sampled some at a food and beverage exhibition and was curious) but I had 4 different types of beer that day. All of them really good. If interested, I can post pics of the others I had.

Bought 3 different types in bottles for father's day.

Awwww...crap! I was thinking to go to that event but forgot about it. If you get a craving for Minoh Beer...check out Q-Brick...a great Osaka beer bar.... http://osaka.townclip.com/shop/qbrick

It was my first time having minoh beer, it certainly wont be my last. When I crave for beer (and not very often) I end up going to The Beer Company in DD House in Umeda http://r.gnavi.co.jp/k160135/

He was just making a weekend visit. Can't handle that guy more than once or twice a year; too old.
