First time drinking out of a bottle instead of a can... Makes a huge difference, so much richer and smoother! Excellent excellent excellent.

Talikser 18 - so complex and well rounded. Buy it if you find it, I hear its been discontinued in the U.S.

Springbank 10 - I think I like this more than the 15 (but less than the 18). Some nice sweetness followed by a touch of salt and finishing in light smoke. The 15 has too much sweetness up front, drowns out the other flavors.

You're wrong, the rumors are they're discontinuing this beautiful juice all together! [IMG] I'm going apeshit because it's easily my favorite single malt http://www.whiskynotes.be/2009/talisker/talisker-18yo/ It's still on their website so hopefully it's just a rumor....

After I brush my teeth, I'm going to gargle with Cheval Blanc. The stuff is far too pedestrian to ever drink.

I checked a store locally and they're out and said they don't expect to have any in anytime soon. Also had a relative in another state check there, said the store told him the 18 is "no longer in their system." Sad news [IMG]

I'm sure I'll find some, there's plenty of stores around here, just sucks it may be going away.

Post this again tomorrow when my Pledge will force me to consider it funny.
